Breeder Referral List
Reputable English-type Golden Breeders
Since we will not have another litter for some time, we have offered to help buyers find another reputable breeder.
This is a newly created page and breeders will be added as they approve their inclusion.

Some time ago, we realized that we were getting more and more calls and emails from confused and frustrated buyers who only wanted to find a healthy, well-tempered, English-type golden puppy for their family. One that was bred, raised, loved and placed with kindness and experience.
They either didn't know where to start or had been doing research and talking with breeders for some time only to find they were becoming even more confused and frustrated - and we understood why.
Unfortunately there have been many "breeders" springing up all over the US and capitalizing on what they call the "rare" "English Cream (ECGR)" or "white" goldens. Sadly, not all breeders have the best interests of THE BREED in mind when they climb onboard the breeding train.
First, these dogs are not rare and this is not a separate breed. It is a "type" or "style" with lines/pedigrees that reflect Goldens Retrievers imported from the UK, Europe, Australia, and/or New Zealand.
This page lists breeders we know either personally, or through respected mentors and peers, who DO have the best interests of the breed (and their puppies!) in mind. That said, it is up to the buyer to do their own research, talk with several breeders and choose the one that feels like the right fit for them.
